Shared Folders
Shared Folders are folders shared with other members in the domain
In Egnyte, the root folder is known as a Shared Folder. This folder is the main directory for all of the organization's files. The name, description, and permissions on this folder can't be changed.
Any folders created within this primary shared folder are considered top-level folders, and only users and Power Users with this functionality enabled can create folders at this level.
Shared sub-folders
Folders created under the company's Shared Folder are shared sub-folders. When created, these sub-folders can be shared with specific users and groups. Admins and the creating user can adjust the sharing permissions at any time.
