# SharePoint Storage

SharePoint functions both as an organization's intranet and as a storage platform. SharePoint is broken down into Sites, which can be used for various purposes such as widescale communication or collaboration on files. Each site can have access restricted to specific users, including unique document libraries for storing and sharing files.
