Google Workspace Shared Drives and Personal Drives

Google Workspace breaks storage down into Personal drives (My Drive) and Shared Drives. Personal drives belong to an individual user while Shared Drives belong to an organization. Sharing options and default vary depending on which drive type the file or folder resides in.
