Learn how SharePoint handles Users and Groups

SharePoint doesn't have unique users. Instead, users need to first be added to the Microsoft 365 organization. Users who are part of the Microsoft 365 organization can then be given permission to access SharePoint and specific sites by adding them through the Site Options.
